This is a slaked, hydrated lime putty that has been aged at least twelve months and is ready for immediate use as a temporary bed for tiles when using the double reverse method of making mosaics.  Sold in 16 oz containers.  With a temporary bed 1/4" thick, this amount will cover about 80 square inches or a 9" x 9" square.

Lime putty is a highly alkaline material.  You should review the links below before using.  Wear gloves to protect your skin.  And, should you get any on your skin, vinegar will neutralize the alkaline.
