Hardie - Carbide Tipped
The hardie is used in combination with a mosaic hammer to cut tesserae.
The pin hardie show here must be fixed upright into a firm, heavy log of wood.
Carbide hardies are suitable for cutting all materials however it is typically only recommended for cutting gold smalti which has two separate glass surfaces.
